For the first time in 10 years, Head Coach Mr. Mark Noe’s varsity men’s tennis team has defeated North Central. The Irish won 3-2 on Sept. 14.

Senior Andrew Davey won Number-3 singles 6-0, 6-2, with sophomore Sam Black and senior Alex Pohl capturing Number-1 doubles 3-6, 6-2, 6-3 and senior Eli Carroll and senior Parker Ballew winning Number-2 doubles 6-3, 6-2.

In an email, Noe wrote, “This is a big win for the program and the team. I am proud that their hard work is paying off. I am excited, but now we have to regroup and prepare for big matches against several ranked teams coming up. It’s not quite time to celebrate yet.”
