Senior Jack Kafka is front and center at this year’s Homecoming. Members of next year’s Student Council, whose names have been announced, will organize Homecoming along with several other events next year.

Student Council co-moderator Mrs. Kim Jamell has released the names of next year’s Student Council members.

Class of 2019: Ava Beloat, Evan Davis, Isabelle Kwon, Ike Richey, Liona Russell, Christina Sally and Morgan Sell.

Class of 2020: Kye Boyd, Max Martin, Kendrick Mernitz, Natalie Schorr, Ellie Sheddy, Jessie Short, Sam Vander Missen and Maddie Wirth.

Class of 2021: Caroline Buhner, Megan Cerar, Caroline Cline, Hadley Hendricks, Gabe Jamell, Rebecca Richey and Monica Ugo.

Jamell wrote in an email, “We are excited to have so many interested students. After the interviews, we realized that these were very serious, motivated candidates.” Along with Jamell, theology teacher Mr. Ed Freije ’99 and science teacher Mr. Ryan Davis ’06 also serve as Student Council moderators.

The role of the Student Council includes organizing Homecoming, Winterfest, the Irish 500 and the spring talent show.
