The athletics department has released the varsity football schedule for the 2018 season.

The season opens on Aug. 17, with Head Coach Mr. Bill Peebles’ team taking on Noblesville at 6 p.m. at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Home games are considered those hosted by the Irish even though they don’t actually have a home field: Aug. 31 vs. Cincinnati Elder at 7 p.m. at Marian University; Sept. 14 vs. Cincinnati St. Xavier at 7:30 p.m. at UIndy; Sept. 28 vs. Union (Kentucky) Ryle at 7:30 p.m. at Arsenal Tech.

The Irish will hit the road for games at Brownsburg (Aug. 24 at 7 p.m.), Bishop Chatard (Sept. 7 at 7 p.m.), Jeffersonville (Sept. 21 at 7 p.m.), Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward (Oct. 6 at 1 p.m.) and Center Grove (Oct. 12 at 7 p.m.)
