Athletics Director Mr. Rick Strieff has announced the interscholastic sports schedule for the week of Aug. 6.

Aug. 6: The women’s junior varsity and varsity golf teams play in an invitational at Maple Creek, with the event getting underway at 9:30 a.m. Participating varsity teams other than the host Irish include Bishop Chatard, Carmel, Fishers, Guerin Catholic, Hamilton Heights and Hamilton Southeastern.

Aug. 7: The women’s varsity golf team participates in a 4 p.m. match against Noblesville and Geurin Catholic at Pebblebrook, while the women’s varsity volleyball team scrimmages against Center Grove at 6 p.m. at Center Grove.

Aug. 8 and Aug. 9: No events scheduled.

Aug. 10: The varsity football team travels to Avon for a 7 p.m. scrimmage.

Aug. 11: The women’s varsity volleyball team travels to Mooresville for an invitational that begins at 9 a.m. and includes the host school, Brebeuf Jesuit, Edgewood, Indian Creek and Lawrence Central. The same day, the men’s tennis team scrimmages at 9 a.m. at Pike, the women’s varsity soccer team participates in a scrimmage at 1 p.m. against Westfield at Lawrence Park, while the men’s varsity soccer team follows at 3 p.m., scrimmaging against Westfield at the same location.
