Speech and debate callout dates announced
After school meetings set for Sept. 11 and Sept. 12
Qualifiers at the national speech and debate national tournament June 14-21 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida take a break between sessions. Their appearance marked the seventh straight national qualification for the Irish team.

Students interested in becoming involved in the school’s state and nationally recognized speech and debate program may attend either of the following two callout meetings:
Sept. 11 from 3:15 to 3:45 p.m. in Room 4238;
Sept. 12 from 3:15 to 3:45 p.m. in Room 4238.
Faculty moderator Mrs. Jeanne Malone notes that students need to attend only one of the two afternoon sessions and may contact her or see the speech and debate website for more information.
