The annual Cathedral baseball Christmas Camp will take place Dec. 27 and Dec. 28.

Head Baseball Coach Mr. Ed Freije ’99 said in an email, “The Christmas Camp is designed for kids to have an opportunity to get out of the house, work on fundamentals and have some fun playing baseball over Christmas break.  We’ve been very fortunate to have a strong turnout and many kids returning over the years. We’re looking forward to another great group ready to work and have some fun.”

Freije, other members of the coaching staff and current Irish players will instruct the camp. Through the use of drills, it aims to improve players of any position on both offense and defense.

The camp is available for grades K-8, and the cost is $65, which includes a camp T-shirt. Each day’s session in December will start at 1 p.m. and end at 4 p.m.
