Pride of the Irish director Mrs. Kathy McCullough reports that the annual Band Bingo scheduled for Feb. 1 at the Northside Knights of Columbus facility is still on. Doors will open at 5 p.m., followed by dinner from 5:15 to 6:45 and 10 games of Bingo beginning at 7 p.m. McCullough did note that the jazz band will not perform as originally scheduled.

Three of the four teams playing in the women’s basketball Class 4A Sectional 10 did not go to school because of the inclement weather, but that won’t stop the games from being played as scheduled on Feb. 1 in the Welch Activity Center. Cathedral takes on Arsenal Tech at 6 p.m., followed by Heritage Christian and Lawrence Central at 6:30 p.m. Semifinal games will be played Feb. 2 at 6 and 7:30 p.m, with the Sectional championship at 6 p.m. on Feb. 4.
