Irish to take on Tech-Howe winner in semifinals

The women’s basketball team hosts the annual City tournament at the Welch Activity Center, with the Irish playing the winner of the Arsenal Tech vs. Howe game on Jan. 14 at 7:30 p.m.

As the tournament’s second seed, the Irish drew a bye into the second round. Defending City champion Heritage Christian is the Number-1 seed.

The semifinals will be played at 6 and 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 16, with the City championship set for Jan. 17 at 7:30. The semifinals and final also will be played in the WAC.
